Melt Blown Filter Cartridges
Melt blown depth filter cartridges are constructed of pure polypropylene fibres. These filters have been manufactured under melt-blown technology, where fibres are collected in a graded pore structure about a moulded core.
• Economical & longer life cycle
• Constructed of 100% pure polypropylene fibres
• Made of FDA grade PP material without binders, additives or lubricants
• Suitable in relative high temperatures
• Available in a wide selection of micron ratings from 1 to 100 micron
Carbon Block Filter Cartridges
Formed by an extrusion process using activated carbon and food-grade binders. The food-grade materials make this suitable for the Food/Beverage industry. Excellent for pre-filtration or pre-treatment in RO applications and high Chlorine taste and odour reduction.
Materials of Construction: Acid washed bituminous GAC / water washed coconut shell GAC, Polypropylene End Caps, Polyethylene netting and Silicone/EPDM/NBR gasketing.
• Improves taste, odour and purity of liquids filtered
• High dirt holding capacity extends service life
• Maximum recommended operating temperature of 60 ⁰C
GAC/KDF Filter Cartridges
KDF/GAC cartridges contain a granular zinc copper alloy. This medium removes impurities from water by exchanging electrons with them in a redox reaction. In addition to chlorine, this recyclable medium also controls microorganisms and removes heavy soluble metals.
• Highly efficient
• Long lasting
• Ideal for pre-filtration
• Maximum recommended operating temperature of 52 ⁰C
Pleated Filter Cartridges
Pleated cartridges are manufactured from a cellulose polyester media. They are resistant to bacterial attack and compatible with a wide range of Chemicals. Multi membrane layers provide a larger surface area for highly efficient filtration of liquids and gasses.
The cartridges are structurally stable with a rigid outer cage. The pleating provides a larger surface area for optimal particle capture. These cartridges reduce dirt, sand, slit, sediment and rust/scale particles.
• Withstands high operation pressure drops
• High dirt holding capacity
• Extended life span & low maintenance
• Can be washed and reused depending on application of filter and quality of water
• Low pressure drop
String Wound Cartridge
Can filter high amounts of sediment. Wound with textile fabric polypropylene string and has a high dirt holding capacity and low media migration ensuring temperature and chemical compatibility. Materials of Construction includes FDA Polypropylene, Industrial Polypropylene, FDA & Industrial cotton and Stainless Steel.
• Removes 99% of sediment
• Excellent microorganism resistance
• Long service life
• Wide chemical compatibility
• High contaminant holding capacity
• Maximum recommended operating temperature of 120 ⁰C
Linear Cartridges
These cartridges are commonly known as polishing filters. They are generally use after main filtration to clean up traces of containments, odours or to inject minerals. Linear cartridges are made from Polypropylene and has a ¼” inlet and outlet.
Linear carbon filter: contains granular activated carbon and is used for RO as final filter for removal of taste and odour.
Mineral replacement filter: used after RO to re-introduce minerals into the water e.g. calcium and magnesium.
• Maximum recommended operating temperature of 52 ⁰C
• Standard sizes
• Removal of taste and odour
